Nagano Snow Shuttle offers a variety of transport options from Tokyo’s major airports as well as inter-resort shuttles. They have regularly scheduled services as well as private charters available. Please contact them directly for more information.

Their drop off point in Myoko is a five minute walk from the Lodge. Please let us know well in advance if you have lots of luggage and would like a pickup there. Our drivers and vans are on the go much of the day and an unscheduled request for a pickup can mean significant waiting time! For late night arrivals luckily they will deliver you directly to our doorstep. Please do keep us updated on your scheduled arrival time and method.

Local Train
Local train, the Shinano Tetsudo/Kita Shinano, from Nagano Station to Myoko-Kogen Station where we can pick you up. Please keep in mind that this local train accepts Japanese yen in cash only, with no credit card or other cashless payment options available.

The first departure times from Nagano Station is 6:00 AM and then with departures throughout the day every hour or so. Please check Google Maps or Navitime for details. Please do let us know your arrival time as far in advance as possible so we can be ready to pick you up. . Our drivers and vans are on the go much of the day and an unscheduled request for a pickup can mean significant waiting time!

We are not able to offer Myoko-Kogen Station pickup for evening arrivals. Specifically,
Nagano Station (19:50 departure) to Myoko-Kogen Station (20:35 arrival)
Nagano Station (21:10 departure) to Myoko-Kogen Station (21:55 arrival)
Nagano Station (22:03 departure) to Myoko-Kogen Station (22:45 arrival)

Either at the airport or from your accommodation in Japan it is quite easy to send your bags ahead of time directly to us. Yamato Transport has very obvious kiosks in the major airports and your hotel in Tokyo or elsewhere would be happy to help you out as well.

It is best to send your bags directly to our main Lodge. We receive a lot of bags this time of year so please label them as clearly as possible with your booking name and arrival date.

Please do keep in mind that you should count on at least two days delivery time under ideal situations, and occasionally more if the weather turns exceptionally wintery!
